Beijo-de-Flecha

     Um beija-flor grande e agressivo como uma águia. Ele perfura a casca das figueiras gigantes, sorvendo seiva mágica com o seu bico agulhado. Poucas outras coisas conseguiriam sustentar um metabolismo tão acelerado. O pássaro é tão ágil e rápido que se torna praticamente invisível ao caçador. A sua língua pode furar panos e redes. Não há troféu mais valioso a um arqueiro feidralin do que um beijo-de-flecha empalhado. Na época de reprodução, formam grandes grupos para cuidar de grandes ninhos coletivos, ficando ainda mais agressivos. Os ovos são uma iguaria valiosa em Ardenellíe, além do fato de que filhotes de beijos-de-flecha são domesticáveis.
