A dwarf's best friend, according to the thorakitai. Thoratus are big and strong as mules and have strong front paws with thick claws used for digging. Omnivores, eat roots, tubercules and earthworms. The dwarfs domesticated them for use as domestic animals, beasts of burden and for its meat, but mainly as living shovels and hoes. In some places, thoratus with "gauntlets" are trained to work as big pickaxes, breaking ore and then pushing full wagons outside of mines.
